In Heathsville, Food Lion, Dollar Store and Subway are available to guests.  Burgess has a Buoy Convenience Store, Lillian Hardware and Home Center, Little River Market, Mavericks Restaurant (T & T's), Newsome's Produce and Restaurant and Movie Gallery Video Rental.  Food Lion, Tri Star, CVS, hardware, video rental and Antique Mall stores are located in nearby Kilmarnock.  In addition, explore specialty shops, boutiques and quaint open air markets located throughout the area. 

  Historical Sites

The entire Northern Neck region is steeped in history and many significant sites are nearby.  Wakefield, Washington's birthplace, Stratford Hall, Robert E. Lee's family residence, Mary Ball Washington Museum & Library, Rice's Hotel, Hughlett's Tavern, the Steamboat Era Museum and the Reedville Fisherman's Museum are all less than an hour away.  Williamsburg and the Yorktown  and Jamestown Historical Parks are only slightly more than an hour away.
