The
Smith Point area near the mouth of the Potomac River is one of the most
fish-rich regions in the entire Chesapeake Bay. Benefit from Captain
Showalter's years of experience in plying these waters. Rockfish,
aka striped bass, bluefish, grey trout, cobia, Spanish mackerel, croaker,
spot and flounder are all taken from these waters during their seasons.
Fishing charters are available on a full day basis. The
Captain is U.S. Coast Guard licensed. Enjoy outstanding fishing
action in comfort and safety aboard the fast, fully equipped, 42 foot, 450
hp,
diesel-powered "The Big Easy".
Captain Showalter reserves the right to cancel a charter due to inclement
weather. By all means, book early for the hectic Fall rockfish
season. Bait and tackle are furnished or bring your own
gear, if you like.
